Currently, Najlaa is a Ph.D. student in engineering electro optics and photonics at the University of Dayton and has been teaching as a part-time math professor at Wilberforce University since February 2021.

, Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) Reading Instructor, graduated from Miami University of Ohio and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in creative writing. Shay has nearly a decade of teaching experience from kindergarten to college and enjoys mentoring and providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ students. Shay loves to write poetry and cuddle with her little Chiweenie while watching ’80s horror movies.
